The second original bonus track of the "Crossing the Fields: The Series" EP and the final track of the EP. This track is completely from Kirito's perspective and plays out like a flashback, with Kirito reminiscing on everything he endured emotionally through the Sword Art Online series, leading up to Alicization. The production of this song relies on Anime song singer LiSA's "Crossing Field," which was used as the opening theme song for season 1 of Sword Art Online, as a sample and base.

Crossing the Fields
The Path of Kirito

[Verse 1]
[Chaos Network]

I started walking on a path trying to find my freedom
I was trapped in someone's wrath, barely got to meet him
People thinking life's a game, 'till it almost leave them
Death will look you in your face like "it's nice to meet you"
Everyday I say my grace, cause I'm hella grateful
Cause my people still ok, I don't have to save them
If that time ever come, I will be there
I will burst like a star, with a mean glare
But I was realize if you really wanna say that you are strong
Take some L's, hit the floor, then get back up and move along
If you cannot take the heat, build resistance, do not run
You won't learn how to take it, give up early, then you're done
At the same time, you won't always have to be alone
There are battles you will face, tell your friends to come along
You will find another strength, you couldn't find on your own
This is art, of a sword, and the lines it was on
How it's drawn

[Chaos Network]

On this path, I don't know when I'll finish
But I'm looking at the course, and I get it
I'm going to struggle, it will force my decisions
I have to focus on lesson that come with it

I been crossing all these fields for a minute
Crossing all these fields for a minute
I been crossing all these fields for a minute
Crossing all these fields for a minute
I been crossing all these fields

[Verse 2]
[Chaos Network]

Reminiscing on all my completed missions
Life or death, I was making some tough decisions
Right or wrong, I don't know, they blurred my vision
And my knowledge of pointing out who's a villain
Yeah I swear I was imprisoned when all I wanted was fun
And people had it out for me when my credit record was none
I put my trust in other people, them people died in the slums
People stabbed me in the back cause we swinging swords and not guns
I be Crossing all these fields, but it's seeming like there's no end
I have made many mistakes, I been started making amends
Never thought that I would party, I started making some friends
Never thought that I would love, but she captures the hearts of men
This journey has been long, so I look at where I began
And I tell myself those things I could never go through again
I accumulated strength so my destiny I could bend
But I'll lose something important, the story inside my win

The story inside my win
It was truly a wild ride
All of the novels written inside
All of the reasons I'm full of pride

I been crossing all these fields for a minute
Crossing all these fields for a minute
I been crossing all these fields for a minute
Crossing all these fields for a minute
I been crossing all these fields
